Lake Siskiyou 2026

We were excited to book a stay at one of our favorite glamping resorts – Lake Siskiyou, California.

Day 1: arrive & set up camp

Day 2: lake day

obstacle course – my husband and tween/teens spent an hour on this in the afternoon $15/hour per person
we bought our 2-person Oru kayak
we rented one double kayak and one single kayak for about $15/hour

Day 3: day trip to Shasta Caverns & 3 mile bike ride to the Sacramento River

  1. Everything about this post makes me want to go there! We have been through that area before and will definitely stop at this campground. Thank you for sharing and for the amazing photos!

    1. I’m going to give you an insider tip. Go before school gets out or after it’s back in session. This place was crazy crowded in July. We usually go on a shoulder season and it’s much more peaceful in May or September! You’ll have to try The Dining Car and Yak’s on the 5 in Dunsmuir – both unique & cool restaurants.
