Hike #7 for 2026
We took a day trip to try a few new trails that are part of the Parks & Rec 2026 Trails Challenge. We hiked three of the shorter available trails for the challenge for a total of 3.94 miles. Five hikes are required to enter the prize raffle at the end of the challenge in the autumn. We’re hoping to be able to enter the prize raffle! Two more hikes from the list to go!

I love challenges/scavenger hunt type things… I get a little obsessive over it! On some of the hikes listed, you can earn a bonus raffle ticket if you take a photo at a particular point. 🤩 And each quarter, there is a photo contest, and if you win the photo contest, you win an extra raffle ticket as well.
