So much for my book purge earlier when we assembled our New IKEA Bookshelf… These were $1 for hardcover and $0.50 for paperbacks. I spent $20 total.
Have you read any of these? Which one would you pick up to read first?

We did a “books about siblings” theme last summer, and read the first books in the series of: the Penderwicks, the Vanderbeekers, the Moffetts, and the Saturdays. The Penderwicks and the Vanderbeekers were our favorites!

Thanks! I had so much fun shopping for books at the sale – and they were such good deals!

What fun you are having “filling up” those new book shelves. 🙂 Awesome. I have read a few of those books. The one about Crazy Horse would be interesting. Thanks for sharing your great finds.

Too much fun Charla, way too much fun! I love shopping, especially if it’s a good deal! I’m planning on doing a year-long theme of Native American history next school year, so I’ve been trying to collect books about Native American legends and important historical figures. I was really excited to find the vintage book about Crazy Horse!

That will be a great history year! We have learned so much in our travels about Native Americans that we never learned in school.
