Hike #6 for 2026
We joined a NV State Park Ranger for a desert night hike. We walked about two miles on a flat, well-marked trail of hard packed and loose sand through sagebrush. We started before sunset and let our eyes adjust to the darkness using only the light of the moon to see by. It was a very cool experience!

Darling pictures!

What a cool thing to do! Was it a full moon?

It was the evening before the blue moon. So it was really close to a full moon.
