I like all of your favorite autumn things!! Ellis is a big soup lover and she could eat soup all the time. What kind of soup is your family’s favorite?

We all like different kinds of soups:
I love potato leek soup and butternut squash soup, my hubs loves pho, my youngest loves ramen, my daughter’s favorite is pottage with carrots and potatoes, my oldest likes chicken and white bean chili.
What are your family’s favorites?

They all sound delicious! We love beef soup, ramen, seaweed soup, bean sprouts soup, soybean soup, chili. Tomato soup is good too. My husband loves pho too. It seems elaborate to make and time consuming. Do you make it at home?
Our whole family loves ramen. What kind do you like to eat?

I’ve never made pho at home.
My husband and sons make the ramen. They add stuff to the packets from the store – I’m not sure which brand they use. Sometimes my husband uses fresh soba or buckwheat noodles from the grocery store. I’ve never had seaweed soup, bean sprouts soup, or soybean soup. My husband and sons love seaweed though. And we all love edamame but I’ve never had it in soup. This gives me some ideas of recipes to look up.

Lovely collection! I love soup. We’re not in Fall weather right now, but I did always like pulling out the fall clothes – sweaters and sweatshirts and lighting candles at home. Enjoy!

Thank you. I didn’t put sweaters and hooded sweatshirts on this list – but I should’ve!
What is your favorite kind of soup? How about Dan’s?

I love chicken tortilla soup, and Dan likes chicken noodle. All I need is just a bit of chill in the air, and I’m ready for soup! What’s your favorite kind?

Oh chicken tortilla soup sounds so good right now! I kind of forgot about that one. I like most kinds of soup. I have a recipe for creamy white bean chicken chili that is one of my favorites (see link below). I also like potato leek and butternut squash. And I have a few lentil soup recipes that I really enjoy.

Mmm, yep, definitely soup season lol. Since it’s colder where we now live, I’m enjoying a new hoodie/jacket, and, eventually, the sweaters I’ll get to wear.

Yes, another reader mentioned sweaters and sweatshirts too! I completely forgot to put one of those in my list!

I just love the cooler weather that comes with Fall – especially when it’s cool enough to use the wood-burning stove. Today is the first day of stove use for this year.🙌 Yes, it will be 80° later today, but this morning was in the 40s, so it counts.🤣

Totally!
I miss having a wood-burning stove.
Enjoy! 🔥

You have a great collection of autumn in this post. I have always liked autumn but not the coming cold winter. Now that we are full-time Rvers we can “chase 70 degrees” and keep warm. 🙂 So, that being said, soups are so delicious and homey and I enjoy making (and eating) them. Next week I am making Mo’s Clam Chowder. They are a famous restaurant in the PNW. Have you eaten there? The recipe you added with the link looks yummy and I am adding it to my recipes. Thanks!

When I originally created the post, I did not anticipate the strong positive reaction people had to soup! I thought it was just me! I have not been to Mo‘s, but then again, I don’t eat shellfish so clam chowder is kind of wasted on me. 🤷🏻♀️
At any rate, I’m sure it will be delicious!
And yes, I agree, when we were full-time RVing, we also chased 70° 😁
