My children/teen, ages 11, 12 & 15 all decided to be baptized together at Leoni Meadows family camp this year. Our religious beliefs are that a person chooses for themself when to be baptized by immersion in water when they’re old enough to understand the symbolism of baptism and understand what it means.
To prepare, we went through the following YouVersion plan:

I read this book aloud:
We watched this short 5 min. video:

After we got home from camp, we had an epic ice cream sundae bar to celebrate! 🍨
That’s wonderful to hear your kids got baptized! My sisters and I did that together too, one year.

I have four sisters, but it was my two younger sisters and I that got baptized a few years back (I was in my early twenties.)

I was baptized when I was in my early 20s too – but that was more than a few years back! 😉

What a blessing! Baptism is so special, an individual choice. And then for your children to want to do it together is such a strong bond. Very beautiful!
