Hike #7 for 2025
We missed the co-op led hike this month and barely squeaked by getting my goal hike in this month.
We hiked the Lakeside Interpretive Trail, there and back, for a total of 3 miles on a flat marked trail through pine trees along the lake shore. There were plenty of mosquitos this early in the season and the trail was fairly crowded. It was about 80°F and sunny with an occasional breeze.

Good job on your hiking goals! Lakeside trail looks very beautiful. Did you visit the Donner Memorial State Park visitor center and area? It is fascinating.
