Goodwill 🍂 Fall Haul

by heavenstobetty, posted in Books, Homeschool, Photography

A little update for my longtime readers: in an effort to help my husband in sustaining our Homeschooling lifestyle, I’ve decided to become an Amazon Associate. From time to time, I’ll include Amazon links in my posts, and I’ll earn a small commission from qualifying purchases made through those links at no additional cost to you. Thank you for reading, following, commenting, and supporting our little corner of the Internet!

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know I love thrift store shopping! Here’s my recent haul from Goodwill.

I’ve been really drawn to gingham lately. These ceramic plates by Strawberry Street were $10 for a set of six.
This vintage milk glass mixing bowl by Pyrex is so pretty.
I truly enjoy old things, and these stoneware soup bowls from the 70’s were too cute to pass up. I also enjoy making and eating soup!
This World Market trivet was made in Italy. 🇮🇹 Our counters are not heat-safe, so it’ll be super handy next to the stove.
Of course, I found a few books to further curate my home library. 📚
The One and Only Ruby*, The Orphan Train Trilogy*, Favorite Poems for Children*
This rarely happens – I found two brand-new book sets of great children’s classics. These will make great gifts for my cousin’s little boy (3 years old) for Christmas.
I’ll pair The Mitten* and The Hat* with an actual mitten-and-hat set.
I’m obsessed with picnic baskets! This one has a really nifty handle latch thing.

As always, thank you for following us or stopping by for a visit! We hope you find some treasures the next time you visit a thrift shop near you!

  1. I love “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs”. My kids loved that book! Give me your Amazon link, and I’ll use it. If you like, I can send you mine since we can’t use our own. I love your Christmas gift idea with books and the pairing.

    1. If you click on any of the blue words with the Asterix behind them – in this post I just listed some of the books – those are automatically my Amazon links. I believe that if you click on a link, you can make any purchases you don’t have to purchase the item that I referenced. But I’m not totally sure because this is a brand new experiment for me! 💗

How can I shop via your Amazon link?
