Double-Dose Goodwill Thrifting Therapy

We went shopping at 2 different Goodwill stores last weekend. I was on the hunt for upcoming events: fiesta stuff, summer school stuff, gift basket stuff, and 8th grade graduation stuff.

Here’s what we found:

5 more cactus stemmed glasses for hosting our fiesta and 2 glass carafes for hosting a girls tea party
I used to have a hat box with Rafael’s angles on it, so I was stoked to find this vintage Bessie Pease Gutmann “Cupid Caught Napping” hat box to store my hats in
Boxed cactus stemmed glass 2-pack and a brand new foxy tea towel I’ll send to my sister as a gift
Fiesta stuff: llama craft kit, 2 sombreros, and a
zampoña: traditional Andean pan flute made from bamboo tubes
We’ve been into doing 500 piece puzzles during evening reading time – fingers crossed🤞 these have all their pieces! I’m extra excited for the American Indian Tribes for my unit study theme next school year. I’ll put the Christmas puzzles in our advent bags to open with our Book Advent.
I really showed restraint in my book purchases – I found 2 for my Native American unit study!
Summer school games
Miscellaneous summer homeschool goodies – architecture tiny house kit, 11 themed Raddish recipe packs, snap circuits kit, and a DIY music box kit

We hope you can score some sweet thrift deals this summer!

  1. Oh wow! Great finds! My favorites are the hat box and the Pan flute. And some of the others just blow me away that you were able to even find them at a thrift store. Excellent!
