Zilker Botanical Garden – Austin, TX

I ended up deciding to visit Zilker Botanical Garden for our last day in Austin, TX. The other option was Bullock Texas State History Museum where I’m sure we could’ve spent an entire day. If we’ve had another day in Austin, I would’ve gone there next. My husband’s conference ended today and I was hoping to meet up with him in the afternoon. The ticket prices were slightly less for the botanical garden and since we only had the morning, I figured that was a better use of resources. Also, the weather was near perfect. If it had been raining or cold, I probably would’ve opted for the museum.

We enjoyed Zilker Botanical Garden immensely! It was a wonderful time to visit and there were lots of things in full bloom. Here are some favorite photos.

The stepping stones were super fun for the kiddos – I was afraid I’d fall in!
