Hello 2024! Here are my New Year Resolutions:
1. (So cliché) lose weight. Specifically get back to my ideal weight. More specifically by portion control and limiting sugar consumption. Target weight loss = 15lbs
2. Quit coffee
3. Exercise more (so so cliché). Specifically, work up to 2 reps of my fave high intensity interval training video per day, 6 days a week.
4. Find a church to attend regularly
5. Sew an article of clothing for myself & teach the kiddos to sew pajama pants for themselves
6. Clean out my closet, K’s closet/dresser and B’s closet/dresser
6. Finish my Log Cabin Christmas Tree Quilt
7. Find a dresser for S
8. Visit Sand Harbor State Park
9. Travel by Amtrak
10. Paint the remaining 3 unpainted bedrooms in our house
⭐️ What is your top resolution for 2024?
Those are great resolutions – and who cares if they are cliche! I need to lose weight, too – so, that’s number one for me. I am down 6.2 pounds from last year – not much, but at least I didn’t go up or stay the same. I think 15 pounds is realistic for me. I might turn over a few small leafs, but I’m certainly not going to grow a whole new tree! I enjoy food too much! I’ll have to think about some other goals and come up with some little changes – which are sustainable – which can help me be healthier. Good luck with your resolutions, and all the Best for 2024!

Thanks Betty! Happy New Year to you too! Good luck with your resolutions!
I really enjoy food too. I’m hoping I can make myself just cut back enough to make a difference without feeling deprived.

Love these! I haven’t made resolutions ~but I want to live to the fullest and hope to travel more & see kids and grands! Now,…let’s talk about that coffee goal, my friend. Tee hee! I must admit though, since my major cancer surgery, I’m down to just two cups a day {I’d rather have hot tea anyway!}. Tell your son his pic is gorgeous! Happy New Year!

I’m on day 3 of no coffee and it’s no fun quitting. I’ve quit before… while pregnant and nursing so I know I can do it. Just don’t know if I actually want to do it 😂 ☕️😍

I get it! After my surgery I went 10 days without it (I had horrible headaches too!). Now, I’m happy with two cups. We have a win-win relationship lol! I’ll pray for you! 🙏🏻

These are wonderful resolutions!! I especially like your sewing goal. Tell us how that one goes and post pics of the pajama pants. A friend of mine gave me a sewing machine but it’s a beast to get familiar with. By the time I’m done setting it up, I’m too tired to do anything else. Sewing is a practical skill and you can make so much with it.
Your oldest took a great photo of the sunrise!!

It is great to have a bucket list to look forward to. And yours seems both challenging and achievable!
