Texas Capitol – Austin

Our second day in Austin was dubbed “museum day” and “walk instead of Uber day”. The art museum was only a mile and a half from our hotel and the Texas Capitol was on the way.

We also visited the Texas Capitol Visitor’s Center.

The Texas Capitol was gorgeous! We also found a few fun souvenirs and postcards in the gift shop at the visitor’s center.

Next up, The Blanton Museum of Art

  1. The capitol grounds is amazing. I also enjoyed seeing the lego replica, the funky old ttree trunk, and the patriotic quilts. What a fun looking adventure for you all.

  2. I enjoyed visiting the Texas capital. Since we visited the history museum the same day, we didn’t have much time to tour the grounds. They are beautiful. Texans are sure proud of their state! Cute picture of the vaqueros!
