Our small rural library is getting a new branch manager. Being frequent flyers at the library, I felt inspired to bring her a little welcome gift. My daughter (age 12) and I had an opportunity to shop at TJ Maxx and we found the perfect things! I was looking for a gift that was both thoughtful and generic enough that most people would enjoy it.
We ended up getting: A floral tote with a tassel, a delicious scented candle in a gorgeous glass container with a matching lid, and a lavender journal with a matching pen. It’s the perfect trio of generic things anyone might like, with an added bonus of everything being totally adorable. The things all look beautiful together which shows that time and effort was put into purchasing them.
I hope she likes the welcome gift. At the very least, I hope she feels loved and welcomed to her new job. Starting a new job can be intimidating and anxiety producing – maybe this will ease the transition a bit.
