After a morning of fun in Portland at the Beverly Cleary Statue Garden and Aerial Tram, we headed just across the river into Washington State to visit “The Patch”. This activity was “outdoors/nature-ish” on our itinerary. We met up with my long-time childhood friend and her husband and their daughter. We hadn’t seen the G family since November 2018 but we all picked up without missing a beat! Friendships that last from the first day of 2nd grade until you are 43-years-old are a rare treasure. I count myself extremely blessed.

The children tried pumpkin bowling but I failed to get a picture. 🤦🏻♀️ We did the kid corn maze and the adult corn maze and let the children lead the way in both.

We went on a hay ride.

We picked out pumpkins.

We had a lovely afternoon. The Patch was awesome and had that wonderful old-fashioned, wholesome, laid-back autumn feeling that a pumpkin farm should have!

🎃 Have you visited a pumpkin patch this fall season?
How fun and lots of activities! We love pumpkin patches too.
