After visiting the Beverly Cleary Statue Garden (“unique to the area” & “art/culture” on our itinerary), we took an Uber to the Portland Aerial Tram that we’d seen while driving around Portland. The kiddos loved the experience. We got a really fun bird’s eye view of Portland. This one is “unique to the area” on our itinerary.

While the height at the top of Multnomah Falls made my stomach drop to my knees, the height in an enclosed gondola didn’t bother me nearly as much.
🚠 Comment poll question: How do you feel about heights?
I also have more problems with heights when I am outside than inside. I’ve used rock climbing to help me face my fears of heights…but hiking next to a steep drop still bothers me a lot.

Heights are not my forte. eeks!
Beautiful pictures. Living in dry Arizona it is refreshing seeing the foliage there. Oregon is the most picturesque state I’ve ever seen.💐

Yes, the foliage is very lush! It’s quite wet in Portland, OR.
