Dollar Tree Treasure Hunt – Socks & Schultütes

I was inspired by fellow blogger, Betty, at Chambers on the Road (who recently posted Man Socks and Dollar Tree in the RV) to look for camping socks at the Dollar Tree. I’m happy to report that I finally found some!

After scoring these awesome socks, my treasure hunt continued. I was on the hunt for Schultüte supplies. If you would like to learn how to make a German Schultüte, here’s a link to directions: Make a Back to School Cone (German Schultüte).

I found almost everything I needed to make & fill my back-to-school German Schultütes at the Dollar Tree. “Heavens to Betty!”, this place is great!

To make: poster board, tissue paper, scotch tape, decorative washi tape – $4.50
To fill: scented erasers, fuzzy pens, solar system craft, neon crayons, scotch tape (because they always use mine!) – $14

💸 Have you found something really great at the Dollar Tree lately?

  1. Thanks for the shout out! As soon as I saw Dollar Tree in the title, I had to read asap! I will have to check our Dollar Tree to see if they’ve gotten any more socks in stock. Your kids are just beautiful, such great smiles. And what a score on the socks! Last time at Dollar Tree, I bought a number of fall decor items to paint. Sometimes I bring these things along when I visit my mom (who’s 97), and we have a painting party. I also paint them at home by myself, too. I hope you have a wonderful day. You made mine!
