Friendly Friday Photo Challenge – Colour Harmonies

This week’s challenge comes from Amanda at Something to Ponder About . I am excited to participate in another color challenge. I had a great time compiling photos for The Colour Pink back in June. If you would like to participate in this fun photo challenge please visit her site for the rules.

If you’re not sure how a color wheel works, here’s a nice little video explaining the basics as it relates to interior design: Color Wheel Basics. My knowledge of color theory is very elementary but I love experimenting with color in my photography and I found some favorites to share below. I hope you enjoy them!

monochromatic brown
orange and green contrast
complimentary rainbow colors
monochromatic blue
rainbow colors contrast
complimentary brown, beige, grey and black
blue and green complimentary with orange contrast

red and green and grey contrast

    1. Thank you Jenny! The photo challenges are really fun for me. Being a stay-at-home homeschool mom is a wonderful calling but sometimes it’s great to do an assignment with a deadline just to mix it up a little bit 😉
