These double dark chocolate blood orange brownies are super easy and really delicious. You will be surprised how the orange flavor comes through with just two simple substitutions using the recipe on the back of the box.

All you have to do is substitute the 1/4 cup of water with orange juice and the 1/2 cup of vegetable oil with blood orange olive oil.

You can order the blood orange olive oil from this website.
I also threw in a half a bag of mini chocolate chips to make this batch “double chocolate”. Then I baked them according to the package directions.
You can even serve them with a slice of orange to be extra fancy!

P.S. I got the idea for these brownies from my sister 😘
Ok…I am now craving these. They look and sound amazing! Did your kids like them? I’m not sure how mine would react.

It was my sister’s idea. I think she might’ve run out of vegetable oil and used orange olive oil in a pinch. They are so yummy!

Mine too, I wish there were still some left! It seems imprudent to make them two days in a row 🤣
