This past Sabbath we took the kiddos sledding. We drove about 15 minutes into the mountains from Bend, Oregon to Wanoga Sno-Park. There was a perfect sledding hill here.
Luckily Costco had put out their snow pants the day before and we found all the sizes we needed so everyone was appropriately suited up.
This picturesque scene of snow-dusted pine trees put me in the mood for Christmas just a little bit too early!
S wanted to build a jump in our sledding hill and everyone really enjoyed his creation.
Check out E’s photos of K and B catching some air!
When the kiddos wanted to go sledding again on Monday afternoon and we went back to Wanoga Sno-Park, it looked like this:
So we had to keep driving towards Mt. Bachelor to find more snow. Stayed tuned for Dutchman Flat Sno-Park…
Isaiah 1:18
Come now, let us settle the matter, says the Lord. Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.
Snow already!?! You’re making me miss Oregon 🙂
