The Simple Women’s Daybook

A copycat post from: A.M. Pine Hearth Ridge Reflections : A Simple Woman’s Daybook

Amy has posted a few of these in the last couple of months and they are really beautiful. I felt inspired to try one too. I hope you enjoy it and maybe try one yourself!

FOR TODAY~

Outside my window… quail families with adorable baby quail feasting in the lawn – the baby chicks are so so tiny!

I am thinking… what else can I take for potluck in Ashland, OR that doesn’t take any prep work and won’t melt in the car?

I am thankful for… mid-week movie nights with popcorn 🎥🍿

From the kitchen… homemade double-decker tacos (my fave)

I am creating… a gift basket (almost done) & this blog post 🥰

I am going… to Ashland, OR this weekend

I am wearing… cotton floral pajama pants and a tank top

I am reading… Teaching In Your Tiara by Rebecca Frech and Where Trees Touch the Sky by Karen Barnett

I am hoping… our truck is out of the shop by the time we leave for glamping in Monterey and the new friends we met like us as much as we like them

I am hearing… Pirates of the Caribbean (my tween/teens first time watching it)… did my husband just snore???

Around the house… trying to keep it tidy for upcoming travels and guests back-to-back. Wondering when the couch replacement cushion covers will arrive?

One of my favorite things… classic summer movies, classic children’s books, and classic book/movie combos

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week… hair trim for B, drop of hand-me-down clothes, iron the boys’ dress shirts, escape room with the family at the library, go out for dinner, pack for Ashland, drive 6 hours to Ashland, OR (with 3 drivers it’s only 2 hours each shift!)

Here is a picture thought I am sharing for you…
