    1. Yes, the flowers looked so pretty and fresh! And smelled amazing!
Did you know that Trader Joe’s donates the flowers to local churches and hospice after they have reached their shelf life in the store?
We did not see the animal. We had a tour from the manager, and no one was even looking for it!
They gave all the kiddos a sampling of three products and a goodie bag with stickers and a lollipop!

      1. That’s a wonderful field trip outing!! How did you get the manager to give you guys a tour? What a fabulous way to learn…hands-on and getting to talk to an expert at the store.
Wow, I didn’t know TJ’s donated flowers to those places! It’s so much better to donate than just throwing them out.

      2. I dunno 🤷🏻‍♀️ the field trip planner at our co-op planned it. You could probably call the store and ask to talk to the manager. Based on my understanding of the company culture, I would assume that any store would give you a tour if you requested it. 😁

    1. Trader Joe’s has lots of fun and unique snack food items as well as regular groceries. I just got eggs there for $5/dozen. Walmart was selling eggs for $11/dozen. Though not all of Trader Joe’s items are that well priced.
