I Brake for Library Book Sales

Another day, another library book sale haul.

Oh, and I won the tote bag in the library’s summer reading raffle drawing!

Right now we’re reading/listening to “The Indian in the Cupboard” by Lynne Reid Banks (with dad) and “All-of-a-Kind Family” by Sydney Taylor (car rides without dad).

📚 What are you reading/listening to?

    1. Updated comment from Returningtoparadise:

Great books! I enjoyed the Indian in the cupboard series as a kid. We just finished the Bronze Bow and Augustus Caesars World and are now reading Twice Freed and a book about Galen.

  1. My boys loved “The Indian in the Cupboard.” I would read it out loud when they were tucked in for the night, and I always heard, “One more chapter? Please, mom! Just one.”

  2. Congratulations on winning that darling book bag! Cute saying. Right now I am reading Dead Wake, the true story about the U-boat and the sinking of Lusitania. I can hardly put it down!

      1. I started to read that book but had to return it to the library because I was finishing another book. HAHA I hope to get it again soon, after Christmas, because I like reading holiday stories. 🙂

  3. Haha, what a clever quote on the bag! Right now, I’m in between reading books (unless writing stories and then reading them over counts? Lol.) But I do remember seeing the movie adaptation of The Indian In The Cupboard over the summer with the family, which was fun.
