Ice Age Fossils State Park – Nevada

We stopped here on our way from Death Valley National Park to Valley of Fire State Park, NV. It was right on the way, and it’s Nevada’s newest State Park!

We saw some wild burros en route.

Ice Age Fossils State Park is only open on the weekends, so our timing was perfect. We only stayed for an hour and did the mini outdoor loop of statues and looked around inside the museum for a bit. We used a Nevada State Park Pass that we checked out from the library to get in free.

It was cool to see the life size statues of the ice age creatures.

We were anxious to get to our next camping spot at Valley of Fire State Park, NV. After a quick lunch in the trailer we continued on our way.
