Decade Day: 1950s – Homeschool Spirit Week

Here’s our homeschool gang circa 1950 something!

Our main costume ingredients were hair gel and hair spray. I bought K’s cat-eye sunglasses at Goodwill. We had everything else on hand.

My favorite thing about homeschool is… it’s not as long as public school and there’s no bullies unless my brother or sister is being mean.
My favorite thing about homeschool is… I get a lot of free time.
My favorite thing about homeschool is… it’s at home.

      1. We had a 50s day during spirit week in high school. I dug out one of my sister’s old dresses and wore it. I’m several inches taller than my sisters so it was almost “wardrobe malfunction” levels of too short.😬 The yearbook photos live on…
