Rebranding – Feature Photo & Tagline Update

Well everyone, we have officially succeeded in moving into our new home! I feel like we are starting a new chapter in our lives as a family, and I’m going to do a touch of rebranding to our blog. I’ve chosen a new feature photo that I took last week of a butterfly in our new backyard. Butterflies symbolize rebirth, change, and hope. A butterfly is a perfect symbol for us right now.

Now that we’ve moved into a new house, I can no longer accurately say that we are displaced by the Camp Fire. It will always be a big piece of our family history but I feel like it shouldn’t remain the tagline of our blog. The fact that I still feel displaced is besides the point. There are thousands of people who lost their homes in the Paradise Camp Fire who are still living in temporary housing of one kind or another. That is my definition of displacement. Once we purchased a new home & moved into it we didn’t fall into the definition of displaced any longer. We are beginning the next phase of our journey. Our new tagline is: adventures in photography, homeschool, travel and beyond!

As always, thank you for following us or stopping by for a visit!

  1. Wow. Congratulations How ironic. My ex-SIL and brother (they divorced 2 years ago) finally sold their house in Medford after several times on market to a family that relocated from Paradise. It was a quick sale and they had just relisted it. Enjoy your new home.

    1. Thank you!
Congratulations to your family on the sale of the house. Buying/selling real estate can be very stressful! Medford, OR is a lovely area. It was on our short list of places to relocate. 😊
