Memory Verse Monday

So, I’ve really dropped the ball on our Bible verse memorization. I haven’t done a “Memory Verse Monday” since January. Yikes! Obviously, I’m not perfect and sometimes my homeschool doesn’t run the way I’d envisioned it. Luckily, Jesus is big enough to make up for my shortcomings! Luckily, it’s a new month, a new week, and a new day fresh with possibility!

This week’s Bible verse is in the lyrics of the song, Praise You in This Storm by Casting Crowns, so we have a song to learn this week too. I think it’s high time to reinstate our morning time routine. We are working on a unit study about mountains and it is always extra fun when I find a Bible verse that ties to our unit study. This week, we are memorizing…

I lift up my eyes to the mountains – where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

Psalm 121: 1-2

As usual, we use, A Reason For Handwriting Border Sheets, to practice our best handwriting on the verse of the week. When we’re done with a verse we mail the completed border sheets to friends or family.

I hope that you have a wonderful week whatever you’re doing! I hope your day is going according to plan. And if it’s not going the way you envisioned it, remember that you can take a deep breath, give yourself a time-out and start fresh at Any time! Our help comes from the Maker of heaven & earth! Whatever we’re facing today, our God is big enough to handle it.

Thank you for following us, or popping by for a visit!
