Here is the Bible verse we are working on memorizing this week. We are sticking with verses about thanksgiving and gratitude this month.
Psalm 100:4
Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name. (NIV)
We use, A Reason For Handwriting Border Sheets, to practice our best handwriting on the verse of the week. When we’re done with a verse we mail the completed border sheets to friends or family.
My friend L.R. from Returning to Paradise is making a “thankful pumpkin” which inspired me to make a “thankful paper chain”.
Each day leading up to Thanksgiving Day, we each write something we are thankful for on a chain link and add it to the chain.
🦃 Do you have a “thankful” tradition in your family? We’d love to hear about it in the comments below!

We try to focus on Jesus, and we do enjoy some secular traditions as well 😉
