A while ago, I asked my dad what his favorite books were when he was growing up because I know that my grandmother used to read aloud to him. He gave me a vague description of some books about little animals that lived in the forest and they each had their own little adventure. I put that into Google with the addition of being in publication the year he was born. A few different books and authors popped up in my search and this series by Thornton Burgess seemed the most likely… But I wasn’t 100% sure and I didn’t want to spend the money to buy them on Amazon. When I found some at Goodwill, I bought all the titles we could find for $1 each. My dad sifted through them and picked out about 10 that he remembered hearing when he was a kid. Bingo! Found ‘em!

I found these A & Z bookends at Goodwill. They were $3.99 each. I felt like they were overpriced, especially since they were priced separately. I mean, seriously, if anything was meant to be a set, it would be bookends. But they are also really unique so I bought them anyways. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I figured they were probably still less than buying them new and I wouldn’t have any idea where to buy them new anyways. Leia seems to like them!
