Winter Reading Challenge 2024-2025

We don’t live in Idaho anymore, but I just love the Idaho Falls library reading challenges! The library itself is really beautiful and has an indoor Koi pond. Perhaps the ambience adds to the creativity of the librarians there.

Obviously, we can’t get the prizes from the library and we can’t do all of the activities. But we can tweak the activities just a bit and do something similar. And I can just purchase the prizes for the kiddos.

You can visit the Idaho Falls library website if you want to print out the challenges and do them at home.

We signed up for our local library’s winter reading challenge, but that is just completing a certain number of hours of reading within a certain timeframe. It’s still fun to participate in a challenge, but it’s not quite the same.

Happy winter reading friends!

  1. You are right – what a library! I am impressed with the different ways the program guides the readers to explore new things. Good for you to incorporate that into your winter reading. Excellent! Happy Winter Reading! 🙂
