I bought some yarn at the thrift store and when I got it home, I noticed this note on the label: “Carlos hat, gray tweed not brown”.
Well, Carlos, whoever you are, I’m happy to announce that I’ve finished your hat.
If you are Carlos, and you prefer a gray tweed hat not a brown one, send me your address and I will send you your hat. If Carlos does not claim his hat, I will give it to someone who may or may not be named Carlos as a Christmas gift.

I love stuff like that. My fave is buying used books that have personalized notes in the front cover to people I don’t know. I always read them aloud too.

I am Carlos, and I would love any hat! Just kidding. 🙂 Plus, since we’re in Big Cypress during the winter, I don’t need a hat. But someone will be lucky to get this!
