Ugh. Everyone was in a terrible mood! So much arguing and complaining and general discontent. I decided to cancel Monday. I was just not up for it. I declared a mental health day instead of our regularly scheduled schedule.
It looked like this:
Make Chocolate chip Banana 🍌 Bread and strawberry smoothies for breakfast

Cat & chicken chores

Bible lesson
pick up new Lego at PO Box
Free Time* – mama clean up breakfast and prep lunch
Lunch @ noon
Free time* – mama clean up lunch and prep craft
papier-mâché craft – we started a DIY piñata

(1 part flour + 2 parts water)
Free time* – mama mini spa: shower & face mask

Test new Game

2:30 Matinee documentary movie: Secrets of the Elephants on Disney+
Free time* – mama get everything ready for swim lessons
Swim lessons at the public pool
Dinner when we got home: bacon & egg sandwiches
Kids showers – mama & papa clean up dinner
Stories & mama knitting time

8:30 bedtime & mama listens to Proverbs 21-24 YouVersion plan ‘BibleProject | Old Testament In a Year’
* the kiddos played with Lego during most of their free time
Ah! An easy, semi-relaxing day with no math lessons or writing assignments!
