Grown-up Book of the Month (April 2020)

After thoroughly enjoying a memoir and a novel in March:

I decided to step it up a notch with a heavier title, Drawing with Children by Mona Brooks. It seems like a good time to tackle learning something new! I anticipate that this book will take at least a full month to get through. I purchased the book with funding from our charter school so sorry for the sticker in the photo.

Has anyone tried the drawing lessons in this book before? If so, what did you think of them?

Are you tackling a new project or endeavor during this time of self-isolation? If so, what new thing are you learning to do?

  1. I have learned to make face masks. Who would have thought we would be doing THAT? By the way, you are a great second set of hands in making those masks. Thanks.
