Home Church with Kids Ideas

With churches across the country canceling services, we decided to put together a little list of resources in case you want to do church at home with us!

• Opening Prayer: The Lord’s Prayer – “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.'” (Matthew 6:9-13)

• Bible Passage: 2 Timothy 1:7 – “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”

• Bible story: Read a story about Jesus feeding thousands of people with a few loaves and fish (Matthew 14:13-21, Mark 6:30-44, Luke 9:10-17, or John 6:1-15)

• Closing Prayer: In your own words, thank God for His provision, list at least 3 things you are grateful for, ask for guidance and wisdom for yourself and our world leaders, ask for healing and comfort for those who are ill.
